The first sneak peak snippets:
Here they are, the first snippets from the novel! I am so excited to share these with the world! I was having so much fun digging through my manuscript looking for pull-quotes to use for the photo-illustrations we are shooting in studio in a couple weeks. That’s right! Another studio shoot coming up, that means more out takes to sift through and share with my blog. Whew! i was getting close to sharing something I shouldn’t! No I wasn’t, but I am looking forward to sharing more. So here are some of the pull quotes I have picked out to illustrate:
…“Talking is overrated, let me show you,” he said…
…“Francine,” he whispered, “you have naught to fear from me. We will be slow,” he said kissing her lower lip, his hands reaching around her waist, “and I gentle.”…
…He looked at her kiss-swollen lips and smiled, brushing his thumb across the surface. “There isn’t much to be done about this,” he said. She blushed, tucking her fingers into the front of his trousers and pulling him toward her, “Or this,” she said gruffly…
…“When you look at me your eyes burnish my soul. I can feel you touching me, within and without, and you don’t even have to move.” she said…
…He smiled and spun her around, catching her unsteady figure up against his. “This” he began as he pulled her tighter against himself, “is too close,”…
…Francine held the shirt to her face and inhaled deeply then frowned. These shirts didn’t hold his scent, of course, he had not yet worn them. She shrugged and turned. “Hello,” he said quietly, she dropped the shirt…
…“Lay your hands on me,” he whispered. Her eyes popped open and she reached out to his knee, her hand shaking like the top of an overheated teakettle. “No,” he said quietly. As she drew her hand back he reached out, grasping her wrist to lead her as he spread his thighs wider. “On your knees,” he said quietly…
Oh just think of the images that will illustrate these simple little words. I get all mushy and excited just thinking about it. So I guess you now know the name of my heroine, Francine. I hope you love her as much as I do, I can’t wait to introduce her to you fully! Until then, how about another little picture from the last shoot to keep you going. I know everyone likes the water so…
