The Duke and The Domina – book 3
The Duke and The Domina : Book 3
He’s poor. She’s rich.
He’s a sub. She’s a switch.
It’s not love. It’s a marriage of Kink-venience.
After being forced into marriage with a woman from the 21st century Grayson Danforth, Duke of Warrick, is thrust into a world he never knew existed—with a woman he can’t comprehend but feels compelled to protect. Always wanting to hide, remaining an outcast, Grayson finds himself in uncertain territory.
Lulu, a professional Dominatrix and a switch, wakes up in a strange house in a strange world unsure of what to think of this bizarre twist of fate. When she’s suddenly married off to a man she cannot control Lulu realizes it’s up to her to force him into submission–a task that won’t come easily to either of them.
As they begin their dance of husband and wife, can two people who have never known trust and love finally submit to each other?

Reviews:
Tiffany Reisz, RITA – award winning author of The Saint.
“So effing sexy—I want my own personal Warrick. We can share corsets.”
“I’ve been waiting for this hero’s book for what feels like FOREVER and now he has his own story. THE DUKE AND THE DOMINA is the story of #Warrick, the last remaining heir to the Warrick name and he’s totally not down with that. Throw in a 21st century Dominatrix who happens to have Freaky Friday’d her way there somehow and you’ve got one heck of a story. Step aside hymen reconstruction surgery, time traveling into a virgin Lady’s body is the new fad. Just kidding.
But seriously, check out THE DUKE AND THE DOMINA.”
There are not enough words to express just how much I fell in love with this book. Grayson Locke Danforth, the Warrick was a hero that is very easy to fall in love with, not because he’s perfect, more because he isn’t. He’s a man who has quirks and a temper, but he also has the ability to accept Lulu and her not very traditional Victorian ways.
Lulu is very 21st century, she’s a modern woman who honestly thinks she’s dreaming. I have to give her major points for going with the flow so well. I think their wedding was the first scene where I realized just how crazy this whole thing must have been for her.
These two have to work things out, how does a modern woman explain BDSM to a Victorian man, without him thinking her a very loose woman. I think one of the reasons that Grayson was so willing to accept some of it, besides the part where he craves the pain, was because of his years in in India away from the overly repressive English society.
I also fell in love with the photography aspects in this story, I know I wasn’t really educated on how much photography there actually was in Victorian England, but I actually felt like I learned something from this book.
Then you add in the very sexy BDSM scenes and the depth and love in this book was delicious. I wanted to watch Lulu wield those whips, I wanted to see Warrick in his corset and I want to relive this book again and again. As I read it, the book played like a movie, and I find that is one of the things that made me fall so madly in love with Lulu and Gray.
This is easily the best book I’ve read all year. It has passion, love, a touch of insecurities and comes together in an intricate weave that grabbed me and wouldn’t let go until I followed them to their version of happily ever after.
